If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn.
If children live with hostility, they learn to fight.
If children live with fear, they learn to be apprehensive.
If children live with pity, they learn to feel sorry for themselves.
If children live with ridicule, they learn to feel shy.
If children live with jealousy, they learn to feel envy.
If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty.
If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence.
If children live with tolerance, they learn patience.
If children live with praise, they learn appreciation.
If children live with acceptance, they learn to love.
If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves.
If children live with recognition, they learn it is good to have a goal.
If children live with sharing, they learn generosity.
If children live with honesty, they learn truthfulness.
If children live with fairness, they learn justice.
If children live with kindness and consideration, they learn respect.
If children live with security, they learn to have faith in themselves and in those about them.
If children live with friendliness, they learn the world is a nice place in which to live.

Parking by Idiots!

This incident happens after I have done shopping at Tesco.
With Imran in the shopping cart and Hani in her carrier, I strolled to hubby's Hilux. I had reversed parked Hilux cuz its easier to do. Thanks to hubby's advice! As I was getting close to it, I saw an iswara trying its best to park next to Hilux. Mind you this guy was trying his best to reverse-park his iswara with his girlfriend watching. Once his done, I can clearly see that his slim girlfriend was making quite an effort to get out of the car. Why..?? IT WAS TOO DANG CLOSE TO MY HILUX!!!!!!
By the time I reached my transportation, they were gone! It was impossible for me to get inside the truck as the driver's door was blocked by iswara's side view mirror. I wanted to fold it.. but afraid of breaking it. I was not sure whether iswara was equipped with folded side mirror. So I had to come up with a way to get out of this mess. First I put Imran in the car, Then grocery bags, followed by strapping Hani in her car seat. Finally, I climbed in from the back seat behind the passenger's side to the driver seat. Fortunately I was 'big' enough to fit through this ordeal. HUHUHU..
Wonder what Hubby would do in this situation??

Overdue post

I have been very busy this month. Hubby's family yearly trip to Port Dickson for Chinese New Year. I started packing 3 days in advance. HAHA.. I know, I know.. it does sound a wee bit kinda obessive... but hey, no harm done. I'll jot about the PD trip in later post.
Before the trip, I had to let go one of my staff, she just started December last year. Reason..? She's been taking emergency leave for reason which I have difficulty to accept, taking her salary in advance for almost every week, and has been complaining of headache and backpain since she worked with me. She comes from an abusive family, father's a alcoholic abusing mother. Brothers following fathers footsteps, not working and started drinking. She only has one sister already married with kids of her own. The reason she gave for her emergency leave was not quite making sense cuz first, her uncle passed away, then unable to get bus ticket to get home and lastly she said she got backpain and trying to get traditional help with a massuse out of town. Peh! I gave her until the end of the month to get another job. I even offered to help her to find a 'perfect' job, but what she did was, took her 2-day pay and left without a single goodbye. And she took one set of key with her! Arrggghhh!! I had to get a new padlock for my shop. Dang! So now I have to drag my kids with me to handle the shop at night. My other staff only works from 8.30 to 5.30. That was the agreementwhen she started. Besides she has commitment with ehr own bridal services. I don't really mind cuz she's very efficient with her work.
But today's event is not going to be forgotten easily by me. I went to the dentist due to problem with my molar tooth. I thought its the wisdom tooth problem. I've been chewing my inner cheek for days and having a tough time chewing my food. It hurts!! So, when the dentist starts to explore my set of teeth, he found out that I have a very tiny molar tooth sticking out. It has to be extracted in order the settle my inner cheek chew problem. My eyes wanted to popped out! The last time I had tooth extraction by a dentist when my age was still in single digit!!! Well, it needs to be done anyway. So there, got my tiny molar extracted, while listening to Imran screaming for me outside the treatment room. I asked MIL to accompany me. Actually to take care of Imran and Hani. Heh!
