I've found some of my old photos. I was about a year old give or take at the time. I'll have to check with my mom. Hehe..

Electrolux washer and dryer
Read few forums regarding washer and dryer, Electrolux wins hands down. Well, what's left now is to get the right price. Went to HN and can't seem to remember what's the name of the other electrical shop, still a wee bit pricey. Hubby has been making calls. Hopefully we'll get them by the end of the week. Today's the last day for other people to do my laundry. Next week, I'm on my own. Hahahaha!

Spending temptation
These few days have been hard on me. We have gone to few department stores and I have and proud to say restrain myself from spending. Hehe.. sales were everywhere. 50% there... 70% here.. aarrgghh... all those shoes and tops. I wish I could spend a few hundred bucks on those. But of course I won't. Not that I can't. I simply refuse to indulge myself in a shopping spree when I know very well I need to focus on one very important task.
To get the perfect present for a 3-year-old and 1-year-old. I only have few weeks to think. I know what I want for Imran's 3rd birthday. A V.Smile TV Learning System. What about Hani?

Weekend, Laundry and Migraine
It has been a busy weekend this time. Hubby finally found a buyer for the laundry. Officially hand over once full payment received on the 1st of August. At least we've got that on cleared from the list. All we have to do now, clear some of our stuffs like the television, DVD player, radio, rice cooker, display cabinet, hmm.. can't remember what else. But that's not exactly on top of the list. By 1st August, we have to get a new washing machine since I need to do the laundry myself. Hehe..
Choosing a washing machine doesn't sound so hard isn't it? Well, the choices are straightforward, front load or top load, capacity 5 kg or 10 kg, etc.. of course there's the spin speed, is there hot water.. bla bla bla... That's for the washer. What about the dryer? Yes, Hubby wants to get a dryer too. Vented of condense type? Times or sensor function? Arrgghh!! This is ridiculous. This is what you get when you have been running a laundry service for 3 years. It is suppose to be an easy task of choosing a washer. Now I've got migraines just for my laundry!

Imran's vocab
He has been picking up some news words and phrases from TV shows and online games. Hubby was surprise when he said "Oh my Goodness!" when he was watching Baby's Day Out movie playing on Astro. I thought Hubby was pulling my leg. But he repeated the phrase and it did sound like it. Oh dear me! Where in the world did he get that one I wonder. Anyway, he still got a few more words to be corrected. He still say butterfly as 'Ater Ashai'. The latest one, helicopter becomes helopeter. At least they sounds similar. Hehe...
As for potty training him, just found out from my mom that I was trained at 1 and half years old. So my siblings and I was no longer in diapers at the age of 2. No wonder she kept saying Imran is too old for diapers. He's a whole year late in training! Hahaha.. Maybe, just maybe I'll try to potty train both Imran and Hani at the same time. That would be very interesting, don't you think?

Handy Hubby
Hubby has been doing his handy projects for a couple of days not. But today's the worst! As usual I will wake him up to get to shut his alarm buzzing Iphone, then I'll just get back to sleep. Hehehe.. Him by the way was up and about, not being his usual idly-self. Being the handyman has got him excited I guess. Well, I'll just let him enjoy his time. So I thought before I started hearing heavy drilling sounds from downstairs. What in the world is he doing to our home? Dang! Have got to see this. On second thought, I trust him. Hahaha.. So lazy to get up actually.
I got up. Took shower. Hani woke up. Imran woke up. Carried Hani downstairs. Imran followed. Arrggghh.. the debris was unbearable!! Here I thought he was drilling the pillars outside. Imagine how irritated I was to see the living room covered with dust from drilling the wall! The least he could do was ask me to move somewhere else with the kids. He did tried his best to clean up the living room. But still loads of dust everywhere. He even mopped the floor. Didn't work really well. I need to mop again, when I have the chance. Wonder when will that be. Soon I hope. I really can't stand the dust.

Experimenting colours
I've been trying to change my layout with new templates. But to my lack of web design knowledge it failed miserably. With my degree in IT, the thought of digging out the information at the back of my brain was utterly useless. I need a brain archeologist or should it be neuron-something to dig them up. Hahaha....

Not good enough
Today was a mixture of good and bad day for us. Got buyer for our huge dryer and Hubby already booked a 1-tonne lorry for transportation to Cheras. Lorry was 2 hours late. Not good! 4 workers came to help us move the dryer. Good! No traffic jam on the way. Even better! No tantrums and wailing from the kids. Huwaaa.. this is going to be a very good day. Or so I thought.
When we arrived at the location. There was a couple of gentlemen waiting for us. Obviously they have thought of the weight and size of the dryer. Well, it took, let's see, one, two, three, no it took 7 men to carry the dryer inside. While the men managing their way through the ordeal I was having a chat with the lady of the laundry station. Business partner and wife.
The couple have a 3-year old son born premature at around 6 months. He was very small compared to Imran who is 7 months younger. He (the son) had gone 5 different operations before the age of one. I did actually understand what the whole procedure is about but something about his urinal organ which was not fully developed as well as his lung. When a baby is in the incubator for a long time, direct breast-feeding is impossible. Especially when the baby is extra sensitive to the environment. However the mother sis try give her son EBM. What p**** me off is when she told me the doctor told her to stop EBM. ***??!!! Reason gave was her BM did not have enough nutrition for the baby. I was having an image of smacking the doctor but maybe.. no... even if the milk is not enough there's always other doses of FM. Can you imagine how dissappointed the mother? "My milk not good enough for my baby??" To make matter worse, due to no direct BF, she ran out of milk within weeks after the birth.
I can't tell you how sad I was when I heard her story. Right now people are having campaign after campaign to get mothers to BF. And here is a doctor.. I can't continue.
My house chores not done yet!!!!
p/s: I fully BF my kids. Tough I'm not such a big fan of tandem nursing. I weaned Imran when he was about 1 and half year old. I was 5-6 months pregnant with Hani.

Walk in the park....
Finally we got the chance to have a walk in the Butterfly Park. Hubby fixed the buggy with hope that it'll last for a couple of months. Right now we just want to settle the business sale first. Then we'll start with another shopping spree. Hahaha... Depends on the budget clearance first though.
Hani strapped in buggy, Imran on his bicycle and me all dressed up for the walk equipped with running shoes. Hahaha!! I really felt funny wearing a proper jogging attire when I know I will not be doing any jogs. Entering the park was not exactly an easy task since I'm using the direct entrance from our neighbourhood. Courtesy of the neighbours. I have to carry Hani and my bag, while picking up buggy across the cut out fence (I forgot to take a photo!). Then carry Imran's bicycle. Then strapped Hani back to the buggy. For a moment there I actually felt like a supermom. Huhuuh....
Continuing our walk, we spotted a group of adults playing remote helicopters. Hobby level according to Hubby. Not professional level. Doesn't bother me or Imran. Since neither of us now how to play with it anyway. Anyway, we stopped to look. Unfortunately we were surrounded by mosquitoes. Poor Imran and Hani! Dang you mosquitoes.... Lucky I brought my trusty Gamat Gel. After applying quite a an amount of gel all over the kids, we started walking back.
We were about halfway through the walk back when Imran started breathing loudly. His way of telling me he's exhausted. Hahaha.. My bait? Chocolate milk once we reached home. It worked perfectly.
With all the walking and cycling, I would've thought Imran would voluntarily go to bed early. As usual it's a painful task of telling him it's bedtime. Then again I never argued with him what time he needs to go to bed anyway. No matter how Hubby wants me to set a bedtime for Imran. I would not have been able to do it because I need to clear up the mess as well as clean up the kitchen before I go to bed. And before I started the chores, I have to get Hani settled first. I definitely do not want Hani clinging to my legs while I wash the dishes. Because of all those excuses, the bedtime for my kids is around 12 midnight! Hahaha.. Now I feel ridiculous. Feel free to criticize me.. I know I'm a bad mummy! Huuhuhu

I have a friend....
I have a friend. She's one of the most loyal and trustworthy friend I have ever had. But lately she has been lacking in punctuality. You see, she visits me every month. All these years she has always been on time. But lately she has been giving me headache for being late. Even gave my husband something to worry about. That it will affect him any physical way.
And this month was the worse. I have patiently waited for her and yet she never gave me any clues of being late. So there I was complaining to Hubby. What is the matter with her? Can't she just be on time? Of all the time she wants to be late why now? At some point I don't really mind if she's just late. What if she does not visit at all? I'll be dang ticked off if she tries to do that before her time.
Oh well, she did come after all. Gave me quite a fright though. Thanks Hubby for helping me getting through this ordeal. I'm not ready for it yet. I'll try to be a little positive in future... just don't give me another scare like this again.. PLEASE...???

One month to go
Buggy bugger...
Today we had another attempt for a walk to the Butterfly Park. Since I successfully forced Imran to take his afternoon nap early, we have ample time to have a long walk as well as play in the park. I even packed biscuits and chocolate milk. Unfortunately we only managed to for a walk. No the park.....
I bought the buggy when Imran was about 9 months old. So it has been a very useful to us for almost 3 years. We really put it to a good use. Guess it must have known we've been hunting for a new one. Just waiting for this one to collapse. Hahaha.. Old memories with computers. Remember how we always try to avoid saying about replacing things nearby the subjects? I goes to some other appliances as well.
Wonder if I can convinced Hubby to get me twin stroller? Hahaha.. I can just hear him saying.. "Sure! Why not? But will it be strong enough support you?"
I hate sarcasm.....

Never Be The Same Again - Mel C
Come on. Ooh, yeah.
Never be the same again.
I call you up whenever things go wrong.
You're always there. You are my shoulder to cry on.
I can't believe it took me quite so long.
To take the forbidden step.
Is this something that I might regret?
(Come on, come on)
Nothing ventured nothing gained.
(You are the one)
A lonely heart that can't be tamed.
(Come on, come on)
I'm hoping that you feel the same.
This is something that I can't forget.
I thought that we would just be friends.
Things will never be the same again.
It's just the beginning it's not the end.
Things will never be the same again.
It's not a secret anymore.
Now we've opened up the door.
Starting tonight and from now on.
We'll never, never be the same again.
Never be the same again.
Now I know that we were close before.
I'm glad I realised I need you so much more.
And I don't care what everyone will say.
It's about you and me.
And we'll never be the same again.
I thought that we would just be friends (oh yeah).
Things will never be the same again. (Never be the same again)
It's just the beginning it's not the end. (We've only just begun)
Things will never be the same again.
It's not a secret anymore.
Now we've opened up the door. (Opened up the door)
Starting tonight and from now on.
We'll never, never be the same again.
Never be the same again.
Nite and day.
Black beach sand to red clay.
The US to UK, NYC to LA.
From sidewalks to highways.
See it'll never be the same again.
What I'm sayin'
My mind frame never changed 'til you came rearranged.
But sometimes it seems completely forbidden.
To discover those feelings that we kept so well hidden.
Where there's no competition.
And you render my condition.
Though improbable it's not impossible.
For a love that could be unstoppable.
Window Shopping Spree
Yesterday we planned to go for a window shopping spree for Hubby's recliner. He wanted a recliner and I want my own armchair. We decided to go to Recliners and Sofas in Bukit Tinggi. Imagine how surprised we were only to find out it has been closed. Hahaha.. Alas, we drove straight towards Damansara. Initial plan was Ikea. Where else, huh?
Hubby made a drive by along part of Kota Damansara I think where there's some new shop-lots added. Guess, it must have been luck we found a new branch Recliners and Sofas. Hubby was quite impressed with their product. Especially at the price their offering, you can customize them to your choice. Types of leathers, colours, fabrics. Even design. For some products. Hubby got his eyes set on one lounge sofa for our living room. It's worth the price. I can assure you that. Just need to measure back just exactly how big will the sofa accupy the space. As for his recliner, he has not decided on that yet, but definitely going back to choose one. Once the budget is cleared. Hehehe...
Later we went to Ikea. This time we did buy some things for decor. I wanted the Billy bookcase but had to abandon the idea cause it was a hassle to bring it back with Hilux. Due to unpredictable weather as well as no proper planning to buy bulk items we postponed the bookcase to some other time. We ended up paying around RM200 for frames, shoe rack, plastic containers, wall rack and kitchen organizer. I think I've missed some things. Nevermind.
Oh and.. I have yet to utilized my closet due to insufficient stock of hangers... Hahahah!!!!

Walk-in closet pt 2
Yippiee!!!
I got my own walk-in closet!!! Heheh.. not 100% true. It's a sharing walk-in closet with Hubby of course. I can never have my own wardrobe. Not yet anyway.. Hi Hi Hi...
At last I got space to hang all my t-shirts, blouses, jeans, etc.... And Hubby's t-shirts, pants, shirts, jeans, etc... As for the Imran's and Hani's, there's still the loyal Ikea drawers for them to put their clothes.
As for the photos of my new closet, that can wait. Sorry yek CT. Let me just enjoy my new closet for now. Deep breath.... uurrgghhh... new paint smell.. Yuck!!

Hubby's new diet
Hubby's home with a list of food to avoid. And it is my responsibility to ensure that he eats the right food in order to help him with his gastric problems. Hmm.. not exactly a problem for me. I hate frying anyway. It is kinda tedious to do deep-fry or even stir-fry when you have a baby crawling to you every time you go to the kitchen.
Now I have a legitimate excuse to try out new recipes. I have been eying recipes from Recipezaar and got some recipes I want to try out with my new oven. Actually it's a gift from MIL. A convection oven. Just to get the right ingredients when we go shopping. Wonder how soon can I get Hubby to drive me to Giant or Tesco? Hehehe...
Cooking methods - steam, boil, grill, bake, roast... hmm.. what else? Ooohh.. I can't wait.
Tonight's dinner. Chicken soup and boiled PakChoy dressed with oyster sauce and garlic.

Boil bottle - DONE
Dishes washed - DONE
Cook rice for tomorrow's fried rice - DONE
Clean-up mess in living room - to be continued....
Take out trash - in the morning... huhuhu
What else....? Mind blocked.. can't think.. need sleep.. Hubby's in the hospital...

A visit to a Gastroenterologist
Hubby has been having gastrik problem ever since his trip to Phuket last year. All this while he has been on different type of medication. Even tried massaging when his back hurts real bad. But nothing worked. After a few weeks, it came back. I even controlled his food intake. But how much can you make do with food if you don't tackle the cause of the pain anyway. Hehe..
So today we went straight to PMC Klang. After a long wait, he managed to see the doctor. It didn't take long for the doctor to discover his problem and immediately said he needs to be admitted for a futher check-up. Something to do with scoping thingy. One down the throat and one up the you-know-what. Unfortunately, there's no room available yet. So here we are, at home waiting for them to call and preparing Hubby for his hospital admission for tonight.

Potty Training
That's right. I'm currently in training with my beloved son in potty training. We're both in training. Our favourite trainer? Hahaha.. Loads of advice from people who have done their share of potty train.
I'm not exactly in a hurry to train Imran. But I've received complains and kinda discouragement from people which stated Imran is old enough to be trained. Well, guess what. I don't think he is, but I'm willing to give it a try. So, here goes.
I started taking his diaper off during the day on Monday last week. I've already made sure I've got my loyal mop and pail ready for cleaning up any accidents. Fair enough we did actually had a few. By day 3, he has learnt that whenever he wets his pants, he'll go straight to the toilet, takes off his wet pants and started cleaning himself. Wow! I did not expect him to clean himself, but he actually did a good job. Of course his t-shirt got wet as well. There was this one incident though...
Me: Imran kencing ker? (You peed again didn't you?)
Imran: Takde incing.. (No, I did not)
Me: Apsal seluar basah? (Then why are your pants wet?)
Imran: *looking at his wet pants and shrug* Takde incing.. (No, I did not wet myself)
Me: Cheh!!!
**He did wet himself. Just having trouble to understand the wet stuff was his urine. Huhuh...
Today he still wet himself. I've got to admit, I don'tthink its time for Imran to be potty train and I was about to give up. But today he did something new... While realizing he was urinating, he quicly dashed towards the toilet shouting.. *Incing.. Incing..* To my horror, there was urine all over the place. Lucky me it was easy to clean. And Hani did not stray along the floor. Otherwise all three of us would've end up in the shower.
I really want him to give up his diaper by his third birthday. Any bright ideas I can use...?
I'm not exactly in a hurry to train Imran. But I've received complains and kinda discouragement from people which stated Imran is old enough to be trained. Well, guess what. I don't think he is, but I'm willing to give it a try. So, here goes.

The Holiday
Quotes from The Holiday
Arthur Abbott: Iris, in the movies we have leading ladies and we have the best friend. You, I can tell, are a leading lady, but for some reason you are behaving like the best friend.
Iris: You're so right. You're supposed to be the leading lady of your own life, for god's sake! Arthur, I've been going to a therapist for three years, and she's never explained things to me that well. That was brilliant. Brutal, but brilliant.
As I'm typing this entry, I'm trying my best to watch The Holiday on HBO. I've watched this movie I think for the 5th time but it still cracks me up. I don't remember when I started watching all these chick flicks movies. I do remember when I was younger, I loved action movies. You know, the one with hard-a** kicking and loads of gun-shots. Hehe.. Guess I've mellowed down after all the years of caught in between being a girl not yet a woman. Huhuhu...
What I remember is going to the first movie at can't remember was it TGV or GSC cinema in Mahkota Parade, Melaka with my friends. Yeap, my first trip to the movie was when I was 18 years old. Haha.. kinda pathetic ain't it? My father does not allow his children to go to cinema back in our home town due to the poorly managed building and especially the location which has a very bad reputation. And my first movie..? Jurassic Park 3!!!
There were three of us and I sat in the middle. My father told me to. And we had a major blast watching that movie. Everytime those raptors jumped in the screen, we would scream and laughed our heart out at each other for being such a scaredy cat. Hahaha.. Even made the gentlemen sitting nearby wonder what in the world could be so funny to these three girls. I really enjoyed my first movie trip.
To my friends, I really missed those days. Nowadays, we're busy with careers and families that I sometimes forget those lovely memories that we have had during our single years.
I wonder when can I get an all-girl outing? Without the kids. Am I selfish for wishing that?
